Prediction Fiction: Who Will Make The 53?

It's been a good run, even if it ends this year. No one has been better at predicting the 53-man roster for the past few years. My not-so-humble brag will ultimately make this prediction terrible, but I've got to make it anyway.

    this is kinda way out from left feild but,its the first question i found myself asking imiditly after reading your probibly highly acurate moch 53man roster.are my beloved raiders nothing more than als lil pet projects? honestly,who can look at that roster and not see that i dare say about 80% of those guys would be second string at best in the rest of the nfl!sure,theres talant but a hodge-podge of flashy fast unproven atheleats whos styles dont even complament each other much less the scheme of our o or d! SOMEONE,ANYONE tell me im wrong

    You are right and wrong. Al Davis usually has trouble cutting bait with draft picks within a couple years. Al Davis usually has one or two scholarship players (I chose Sam Williams, I left off Bruce Davis) I could see both on the roster.

    The styles of the players do fit the team, but it could be the style that is the problem, not the players.

    I can see where you are coming from, but reality also is that every team has project players. The uniqueness is when it comes to the scholarships.

    Didnt Bruce Davis sign a 4 yr Contract this year , i think he is the  new scholarship, cut Myers & add Gordon

    WOW.. I Really can't believe we r going into the season with Standford routt n chris johnson as our 2 starting cbs.. Plus we play mostly man 2 man hints why we give UP HUGE RUNS..Routt was horrible last year and we pay him huge money to stay..We shouldn't have a 80 yr old man running things<for that matter we should have never had a 65 year old runing things either..He has build,loved,and destroyed the raiders!! 1983/ come on guys

Oakland Raiders' Studs and Duds From Preseason Week 1

[embed]http://gty.im/484069738[/embed] The Oakland Raiders finally look like a competitive football team again. That should be the biggest takeaway from their preseason rout of the St. Louis Rams. Quarterback Derek Carr and the offense looked significantly improved from a year ago, thanks in large part to some of the studs listed below. Preseason Week 1 Players to Peruse

[embed]http://gty.im/459756040[/embed] The Oakland Raiders season officially kicks off Friday night. Unfortunately, it's preseason. Fortunately, there are still plenty of things to watch. It seems like this every year, but this truly is one of the most interesting Raiders teams in years. For starters, there is a lot of young talent. Unlike past years, there is also plenty of veteran talent that isn't over 30. While all eyes will be on first-round pick Amari Cooper, there are at least a half-dozen other players Raiders fans should keep a close eye on during the game. D.J.
