Raiders Shoot Down The Jets, Win 34-24

Quick reactions from the Raiders 34-24 victory over the New York Jets.

Chimdi Chekwa filled in admirably when Chris Johnson exited the game with an injury.

The offensive line has allowed one sack in three games, a much improved unit.

Jason Campbell has made the most of the extra time in the pocket.

Denarius Moore is a special player. Raiders will make sure he is on the field.

Darren McFadden has a groin injury. He was laughing on the sideline next to Jackson at the end of the game. McFadden says it is nothing serious, but it is worth keeping an eye on.

New England comes to Oakland next week, Raiders will need to get healthy and figure out how they will attack Tom Brady and stop the Patriots passing game.

    The raiders are going to the playoffs... its their time I been saying it all along now people get to see wat I already know... the offense is built for any type of weather and can score points... now they are clicking and its scary

    Bresnahan made defensive adjustments and we came out and finished off the game in the second half. The O-line protection of Campbell has been exceptional considering the expectations coming in to the season. One of those three sacks was a gift because Campbell tripped on DMC today. The secondary is a big worry but with the O playing this well why should we no believe we can score points on an average Patriots D and pass rush next week. Again we're on familiar 2010 territory in that we need to prove we can put together back to back wins.

    It essentially boils down to DMC staying healthy for the full season, this guy might end up leading the league with yards from scrimmage if he plays the full 16

Looking Forward: Raiders 2012 Free Agents

Khalif Barnes - Weakest link on the offensive line with youth behind him. Raiders will look for for other options. It's not as if there aren't a dozen Khalif's on the street each year. Darryl Blackstock - Was a Chuck Bresnahan guy, but found a home on special teams. Would have to make the team as a reserve LB and special teams guy next training camp. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back as a camp body or gone entirely. Kyle Boller - Hue didn't have enough confidence to turn to Boller. Expect the Raiders to look elsewhere for a backup to Carson Palmer. Jerome Boyd - Was nothing more than a reserve and special teams player. Some good moments and some very bad ones.
